A progressive jackpot grows as players bet across a game or network. Someone eventually hits it; the meter then resets toward a seed amount.

Local progressives grow only on that casino’s instance. Network progressives pool bets across many sites — meters climb faster, competition rises too.

Must-drop or daily drop pots guarantee a hit before a time or value threshold. They can be exciting, but still carry ordinary slot math underneath.
